this is a return mix for SueEW. finally i get around to finishing it. i got hers in the mail today. very nice stuff. my mix is a little more laid back and mellow, as i tend to be with my music. side A is the stuff she said she likes, or stuff i thought she'd like. all aussie apart from Grandaddy. side B is the stuff i like. Kathryn Williams is a female singer i wanted Sue to hear, as she has a beautiful voice. i nabbed the title off a song by Mogwai, which comes from Rock Action, the cd that gave me the last 2 tracks on this mix. cover courtesy of the rolling stone yearbook, and the letters that come with pencil cases so you can spell your name. :-)

Hey! This looks really great. I know who Tex is, but who's the Don & Charlie? I hope by now you would've gotten my mix. Let me know especially what you think of the Tucker Bs! (as they are my band of the YEAR!)

ps. i thought i'd stick with the religious titles, in response to sue's "she's a busload of catholic schoolgirls."

I love that title, I think it's one of the funniest song titles I've come across... and Kathryn Williams is just SO, SO good... and that's a great song of hers too. I hope Sue likes it.

Maddie, I would've written more the other day, but my co-worker was just walking into my work space (to say it was time to go out for drinks after work!) so I couldn't write more. But, yeah, the rest: I've always liked BFF (and solo) so that was cool; Doves and Eels were ok, not a huge fan, but not bad to listen to; Kathryn - sorry, but still not convinced about her, she's not bad, but as I said before, not a big fan of female vocalists; Radiohear, Sigur and Mogwai I've always liked. But my faves were definetly UL and Gersey - I actually went out on Friday after work (after the drinks, of course) and bought a Gersey cd! (the latest one).
