Comment:

Another schizophrenic mishmash of a romantic mix for Jen, along the same lines as my last mix for her, "You're my reason to get out of bed before noon". Title from the Dennis Wilson classic that closes the disc.

Some very cool stuff and that New White Stripes album is absolutely top-shelf. Is that version of "Yoshimi..." from "Yoshimi Wins", or someplace else? I have that disc, but haven't really listened to it much. Oh, I really like that Lucinda song too. Nice little sentiment tying it all together, too.

Nice work Robbo. (There's also a version of 'Yoshimi' sung in Japanese which is lush.)

Looks really good Rob. Ain't love grand? I see that Depeche Mode has found their way on to another one of your mixes. How long before we see you do a DM single artist mix? ;)

Actually, Ion, despite your friendly sarcasm, I could probably come up with 80 minutes' worth of Depeche Mode stuff that I like (which would, of course, be filed under the "guilty pleasures" heading). ;-P Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending upon how you look at it), all I own is a CDR of Black Celebration and all Jen owns are Some Great Reward and the two singles collections. If you happened to have Music for the Masses, a CD version of "Route 66", and Violator, we could probably talk. :-)
