I got involved in a mix-trade with a great dude who unfortunately loathes anything remotely electronic. So though the stuff he likes is generally pretty great, most of what I have to offer he either already knows or would very much hate. So once again I'm trotting out the usual sub-indie favorites (Illyah Kuryahkin) and various old stuff not necessarily in the common hipster lexicon (Colin Newman, Sparks, Os Mutantes) in the hopes that perhaps some of it will be new to the old coot. Oh, and it would be great if he didn't firebomb my house for the Schneider TM song -- be lenient, dude, for it is a gorgeous Smiths cover underneath all those beeping noises!

I echo the previous comments: Great mix! I also have a friend who despises any electronics in music. I always want to put cool stuff together for mixes to give to him but his bias hangs me up. You have shown us a pathway to placating the electro-haters. Thus, you rule.
