Night Swimming (A Quiet Place)

John Coltrane | Welcome (Transitions, 1965) | |
Comment:
This mix was originally conceived as influenced by Steve's sleep mix or something of that nature. Or like the "Sleepy Hollow" program on Philly's wxpn where different genres come together to create quiet moods. But, as often happens, it took a life of it's own. A darker mood, still quiet but not a relaxed sleep. Of course there were lots of unused CDs piled around the computer so I guess there will be more to this dark nap.Feedback:
looks like mission accomplished. cool disc.
This is cool, George. I like to see that twin peaks may be gone, but not forgotten (I was around for its first year, and loved it). And it's about time Weather Report makes an appearance. Don't recall seeing any of it on the site in my meanderings. I've got to see what cd this came from. I'd love this one if I have one more you want.
This looks awesome. Anybody that starts a sleep mix with Coltrane deserves respect. Well done.
this is beautiful.
