Comment:

I've been doing community theater for 22 years, and for the ten years before that, I was high school theater adviser. because I have GREAT taste in music, I usually do the soundtracks. This is one. THE NERD is a very silly almost slapstick type, and the tunes are intended to reflect it. Side one is preshow music to get the audience "in the mood", the first seven songs on side two are intermission tunes and the John Prine song is a curtain call song

i'd love to see this show, ken. in fact, it obviously stands up all on its lonesome. and nice to see a fellow theatre nerd at the site.

Hi Eric, and thanks for the kind words. I looked at your list of submissions and chose one at random and it started with the CubMaster himself and went through Little Wilie John through Jimmy Liggins, Preston Epps and the First Edition. I was suitably impressed.
