This mix is actually for a project I'm working on, involving making a mixtape to excentuate the reading experience. This is the beginning of the "Catcher in the Rye" Mix. All the songs pertain to a certain event or idea in the plot, and none are there just for fun, even though I wish there were. I must give credit to Loving Idea Productions for the basis of the cover, but I should rather say inspiration, because I pretty much deleted everything that was on the art and rebuilt it to suit my needs, but thank you anyway!

I hear everywhere that "Rollerskate Skinny" is about "Catcher...", but no one can ever tell me why. Does Holden say something about that at one point, or what? Because I don't remember it.

Okay, not to deny a good mix (which this is) can someone explain to me the appeal of this book. Maybe I am just not getting it but I didn't think it was worth its heavy hype. Not trying to be a jerk, just really kind of wondering what I'm missing.

What a great project. Did you like doing it? I am a teacher and I am always looking for assignment ideas that students would actually enjoy working on. What exactly were you asked to do?
