I realized it's almost impossible to do a "best of" with one of the greatest band ever so I did a "Complete Smiths" instead. Every goddam single, single b-side and 3 cover songs (Only 3 covers recorded in studio and released), there are some other covers too but not studio recorded so...My ambition was to collect the studiorecorded songs only. There is 2 songs that I couldn't find: Manchester and New York instrumental. Maybe the collection should be called "Almost complete..." ;)...please give me feedback, and yes; Right me if there's something i've missed!Feedback:
wow. it's hard to give feedback for a project with such specific aims...but I suppose I ought to congratulate you for your lofty goal! definitely an ideal band for such an undertaking.
If nothing else, this shows you are qualified to be file clerk! But seriously, a Smiths best of is quite a challenge, with so many fantastic songs to choose from. I see you've included all my favorites -- even Jeanne!

Good Lord, I can't believe I didn't see this earlier. You are so right - it is damn near impossible to get the "best of" onto one CD - so this is such a good idea. Excellent and very comprehensive!
