Last time was New York, now it's California. There are so many songs about California, but I tried to go with the harder-edged songs, whether in theme or sound.

This is awesome. I've been in the process of making the same mix, only much softer and came across a lot of these songs... good stuff. I really like the phantom planet and the gypsy kings picks.

This is a very good mix. Most of these songs are familiar, but i've never heard them all together. I had no idea the Gypsy Kings covered Hotel California.

I didn't either; I sort of stumbled across it. It's from the movie "The Big Lebowski," apparently.

I was torn between this version and a ska version by Reel Big Fish.
