as the mix name implies these are a collection of all my 8 track tapes. just kidding. the theme here is that all the tracks on here are #8 on their respective albums. one day i was listening to a few cds and realized that quite often the 8th song on the cd is my favorite. i don't know if bands do that on purpose or if i'm just sensitive to the number 8. it's my favorite # and also the number of three of my favorite atletes- cal ripken, cam neely and kobe bryant. i led off with nails because it's my favorite nails song as well as my favorite 8 track. this was fun to make and actually got me to listen to some cds i hadn't listened to in a long time- like rem, the pixies and the crowes. let me know what you think.
