Comment:

I thought it would be fun to compile all my favorites tunes from when I was a 80s child, with an emphasis on rare mixes. Little did I know what a humiliating experience it turned out to be! Some things have aged nicely, the Pete Shelley in particular, while others sound terribly dated and somewhat pathetic. An unintentionally hilarious mix.

Some fantastic stuff here. I *love* the Shelley, Ant and Madness tracks.

Oh, and I also love the Fixx track.

Wow man, great 80's mix! Especially the Saga track (!!) I forgot about them... and leading it off with the lunatic fringe.. that one skipped my mind too!! Cool stuff!

Very cool mix! I like that you didn't use anything that's been too overplayed. Kudo's for including "Cry Baby"...one of my favorite latter-day Utopia tracks, and "Catch Me I'm Falling" which I've always preferred to their other hit "Send Me an Angel". The Robert Hazard track is another good 80's tune that doesn't get played too much. Similar feel, but slightly more obscure than, say, "The Fanatic" by Felony. Other good picks by Red Rider, The Fixx, and several more. Well done!

Well, looks like my own vinyl collection archaeology here...you should be getting more notice. (imho) Great job!
