Comment:

It takes a sadist to be a Boston Red Sox fan. The BoSox have gone EIGHTY FIVE YEARS without a World Series...and counting. Oh sure, we could buy our success like the hated New York Yankees, but it just wouldn't be summer without the dashed hopes of The Beantown Faithfull. So, for the eighty fifth time in a row- here's hoping this is the year. And hey, it could be worse...I could be a Cubs fan!

Cheers!

Isn't Neil Diamond just the classic summertime troubadour? Bless that man... I used the same Pulp song on a different themed mix, but I reckon it works with your theme too- nice job! + oh yeah, once again I see 1 can't entirely escape the fucking EMO influence, even in Boston. Goddam emo... Great mix otherwise. Out.

This could be "the Year", but both you and I know that it in all probability is not. Looking at your mix (fab, by the way) reminded me of one I made last summer during a particularly painful late inning collapse down in the Bronx one Sunday in July (you might remember the game). Everyone is bitching and moaning about this year's bullpen, but they have nothing on some of the game ending meatballs Ugeth Urbina served up countless times last season. Here is my humble offering, one Sox fan to another - I made this while the game in question was in progress, running between my TV and stereo in disbelief and rage. http://www.artofthemix.com/FindAMix/getcontents.asp?strMixID=30723&format=Cassette
