This mix took me some time to make. Some of these songs I know are in that grey area as to there credibility in the "guilty pleasure" status. However, most of these songs I would have a hard time telling my current group of friends that I enjoy them. The songs I mean. I had a hard time just posting this mix. So, if you feel that some of these songs aren't guilty pleasures, bully for you! You've obviously got more guts than I do. I'm a weakling, I know. Or if you think you should publicly stone me or spank me because I like some particular song, I'm not going to lose sleep over it. One other thing, don't waste your time thinking about the relevance of the cover. To tell the truth, I don't understand it either. And yes, that's ABBA wrapped in tin foil.

He he , nice bit of honesty!! Dexy's were named after amphet pills, so they are cool, Safety Dance is a great pop song and when 'U can't touch this' was released all the 'homies' I worked with in Chicago loved it!! Tainted love is a stone cold classic, especially here in the UK. The rest are a bit dodgy though......
I think these songs are "guilty pleasures" for a lot of people, frankly. Put this on the car stereo, turn the volume UP, roll down the window and just SMILE.
Mr. Big... you can't NOT take that song seriously after singing it for the umpteenth time in a Japanese karaoke box. Ditto for "Hungry Like a Wolf." As for what Uproar said, he's right: "Tainted Love" is a classic. This is a fun mix- good for you! Out.

Hey, "Tainted Love" is great, if you ask me, and "Come On Eileen" has its appeal...
yeah, I definitely have issues when I listen to ace of base with my car windows rolled down... but, honestly, everyone DOES it, it's just that only some of us ADMIT it.
Don't let ANYone tell you Duran Duran is a guilty pleasure!! They're way underrated, I think... good stuff.
