Comment:

It has been said on this web site before: You can't do XTC justice with a single disc compilation. I am not attempting a comprehensive survey of their work here. I am just putting together many of the songs I love by a great band.

Hey Erik - good to see you again! I remember track 5 from roommate's collection summer of 79. I flipped. And, of course, the wonderful Pumpkinhead.

Hey, this looks quite fine. I did one of these, too ("The innocents can all sleep safely"). Andy's done some brilliant stuff over the years, eh?

Great call on "Vanishing Girl"....one track I really came to appreciate after spending several days listening (over and over and over) to the Dukes stuff is "Collideascope"...brilliant. Thanks for the comment.

great stuff, Erik. Sorry this comment is late. I am ashamed to admit that I am only just getting into XTC in a big way. Never disliked them, just never listened to them closely enough before now. My loss, but you're never too late to learn, and they ARE a great band, and this is a great comp.
