Comment:

My first submitted mix. Somewhat typical of my mixes; pretty ecclectic, some mellow, some rocking, some CD, some records. As usual it started one way & went another, but I think it flows pretty well, though you may not be able to tell just reading the list.
Many of my favorite performers are in this one, though not necessarily my favorite songs.
Notes on songs:
Kad Achouri is French/Algerian & does interesting acid jazz/world stuff.
The Yello is a remix by Westbam from "Hands on Yello" remix CD.
"Get it While You Can" is the original version that Janis copied so effectively.
Billy Lee Riley's version is new recorded at Sun Studios in 2002.
96 Tears was done in 1999 by the original ? & the Mysterians who still look & sound as they did in 1966!
Double Shot is the Swing Medallions song done in Spanish.
She's About a Mover is from the Los Lobos box.
Hard to Handle is from the Phil Zone Dead CD; I always thought the Black Crowes copied PigPen's vocals for their version.
The Blaster's song is from their new live reunion CD. I saw them in that tour & it was amazing. I thought I would slow it down at the end, but couldn't resist this.

This sounds like a very cool mix. I don't know all of it but it looks like I would discover some great new stuff. I love Yello. I love Cake.
