Comment:

another mostly random mix (weeee Pavement)...

so i've got this obsessive thing with mixes where i pretty much always fill an eighty-minute cd-r within a few seconds of capacity and to get everything on this was quite a battle and a lot of things got cut down.

significant notes:
- "..Memphis Blues.." end cut short.
- "Magic" ends at about 3:15 before the final part part comes back up.
- "Later Days" end cut short.
- "Parallel Universe" missing pieces of the beginning, ending, and a good chunk of the middle.
- much of "Let Forever Be" is 'interpolated' with "Cortez" and has a bit snipped from the middle.
- "Cortez" might as well not even be there.
- "Fine And Good" ends a bit messily on the album, with the ending going into another song, so, rather than just fade it out, i overlapped and stretched out the last ringing chord a bit and then cut it off abruptly to go right into the next song.

But you know, I've found that a couple of times I've had quality problems filling to near capacity, even though I burn at 4x and copy at 8x. If I leave it at, say, 78 or 78.5 minutes things are guaranteed to work out. This looks like quite a nice one.
