A mix for my former girlfriend on her 20th b-day. She was very beautiful, flashy, sarcastic, too smart for her own good. Hopefully it won't become my "default" new-girl mix, although I've yet to date a girl who didn't grow to love Jonathan Richman. Lyrically, these songs range from ambiguous, to cartoonishly mushy, to quasi-feminist. She requested exactly two songs from this mix. The last track is my own lame jokey house/jungle/garage remix of "I'm Straight," complete with Nirvana and Ice Cube samples.Feedback:
I like your mix (particularly Neutral Milk Hotel), but i feel compelled to tell you that Tenacious D did not do "My Biznitch is the Shiznit". If i recall correctly, it was done by The Instant Boy Band
I'm afraid you recall incorrectly ... it really is by Tenacious D. I've never heard of Instant Boy Band myself.
No, trust me on this one. I am a rabid D-ciple, and i loathe the fact that this is always mislabeled on Kazaa (along with "Im the only gay eskimo). These weak vocals are not the work and Jack Black, and it is easily identifiable.
