Comment:
Something about graduating from high school makes you nostalgic for middle school. These are all songs circa 1996-1999, 6th-8th grades, and as the tastes of an 11-year-old tend to run, they're almost all cheesy radio hits. So I listened to a lot of Rick Dees, back then--so what? A requirement for the CD was that each song had to make me lose myself in memories, and I think I've succeeded.
Feedback:
This is a brilliant walk through the park backwards with a platic lunch-box in hand. I still dig Shawn Mullins, so watch what you say. Man, this is perfect. If Timelife put out 1 of their collections for that period of my life, this would be 1 of the discs. Excellent, excellent work. Out.
Wow...Nice Concept. Mmm...that's good conceptual nostalgia. Gives you a WARM feeling too.
oh yes, definitely brings back those middle school dance memories. I'm glad I'm not in middle school anymore.
Sugar Ray is down with the home-dogs.
This is so great
