Compiled in September 1990 at my sister's house in Jamaica Plain, MA (outside of Boston) when I was living elsewhere and visiting her on vacation. It's a compilation of stuff from her collection as well as some stuff that I had purchased during the trip. I have no idea why that stupid Swing Out Sister song is here...I guess I liked that song for about five minutes. The title was inspired by the two of us walking down the street to a local restaurant when some confused dude approached us and asked, "is this Jamaica Plain?" It was the catchphrase of the month.
