Compiled 9-17-97 during my three-year stint in Italy. The Tangenziale is the name of the highway that runs through the Naples area. Italian driving tends to be fairly fast, erratic and dangerous, and it was not at all uncommon to see the splattered remains of cats, dogs or other animals on the road. This cassette encapsulates quite nicely what I was listening to in 1997. I have no idea why I was so into Dave Matthews back then. I can't stomach his stuff nowadays.
