Comment:
Made for one of the owners of Naro Expanded Cinema (http://www.narocinema.com/htmlindex.html), who is also really into indie music and asked for some picks that he might not have heard of... While mixing, I came up with a three CD gimmick and ran with it. I'm sure it's obvious... or, well, it will be when I publish the next mix.Feedback:
nice, first in a while eh...nice great lakes and alfie- what is your opinion of destroyer? oh and that's a classic beulah. nice one patrick
Nice to see you back Patrick. I was worried that you were abducted by the Metallica fan club or something. Only familiar with a few of the artists included above, but I'm sure it's up to your find standards. You're certainly more hip to today's artists than I am.
FINE standards... back to Typing 101
wow.. looks really good.
That is classic Beulah. This looks like a mighty fine mix.
Destroyer I like, even though I only have "Streethawk" so far. I pick up on the band because of New Pornographers, which Thom also listens to (which is why Zumpano is on the next mix... he'd not heard of either band). Pitchfork HATES "This Night," which I haven't bought yet, but I'm probably still gonna buy, because Pitchfork just hates anything with high-pitched singers.
Oh, and Ion, thanks for the welcome back... two words for the recent lack of mixing... Girl. Friend.
