Comment:

The second of three mixes from Thom, co-owner of Naro Expanded Cinema. I guess you can see what the theme is now. I'm making these mies to try to turn him on to some indie rock artists he maybe hasn't heard yet, and it occurs to me that in my case, I usually have to hear more than one song by an artist before I decide if I'm gonna buy their CD or not... so I came up with this. And I'm sure someone can guess, based on the first two CDs, what the third one's gonna be.

I like the idea of putting two songs like that--b/c you're right, it usually does take more than one song. Also, props for the Iron and Wine inclusion. I'm loving it in a big way right now.

Yeah, it took me a log time to get around to listening to that album, and now it's one I can't stop playing.

I mostly like it's versatility--it fits in a lot of different sort of circumstances. But it's one of my favourite writing-time cds.

This this looks looks great great. I'll admit it, I'm a dork dork. I agree, It's hard to get an indication of how good a band is from one song. Love both your Mazarin picks. Not familiar with Iron and Wine and a few others here.
