Compiled 10-29-95. At the time, I was living in Virginia Beach with my (now ex-)wife. We experienced a lot of financial problems during our stay there (which is one of the main reasons we ended up divorcing), so I was constantly afraid of telephone calls and mail from bill collectors and such. The line "Hiding From The Mailman" is from the Warren Zevon song "Worrier King," featured here. That entire song was a rather accurate description of the way I was feeling during that period. Still, I made a pretty decent tape here, I think. Cranking this one up on my daily commute to work was sort of like my version of whistling in the dark.
