Comment:

continuous mix, reeeeally flowy. i made this for a little project i'm starting: every night i work i'm going to make a mix and slip it into the bag of an unsuspecting customer who buys something i think is interesting. whoever gets this one is hella lucky. it's quite enjoyable (i made a copy for myself). anyway, this one's for the post-space-art-core-rocker who enjoys a little electronic goodness on the side. and a smidge of hip-hop. the title's from saul williams.

hey there, fellow brown towner. That sounds like a great way to meet people in this one horse town.

man, no one bought anything cool today, so i'm saving it for later. i'm not gonna give a mix like this to someone buying fucking metallica or michelle branch... that's i get for working at a corporate record store though. meh, it's all good. til next time.

That is a really good idea. I think the mix cool. Saul Williams is a good poet.

yo, i got the modest mouse/califone cover from this '99 comp "i love metal"... all metal covers, but it's pretty lame, mostly bad emo-pop and ska bands. the get-kids doing "on with the snow" is pretty rad, though. i don't know if you can still get the comp in stores, but i'd try kazaa or soulseek.

i don't know, i'd think it would be the average michelle branch fan who'd really have their horizons broadened by this (maybe not 'broadened', maybe ripped in half and turned inside out). good stuff though. damn, too good.
