A friend asked me to make him a mix in order to introduce him to some new music. I stuck Mozart in the middle of the mix for two reasons: 1) I like to have at least one instrumental per mix; and 2) While I usually place instrumentals at the beginning or at the end, I wanted to place this one in the middle to play the role of eye of the storm. Some notable exclusions include David Bowie, The Velvet Undeground, the Stooges, Beck, Miles Davis, the Sex Pistols, Apples in Stereo, Ike and Tina Turner, Lou Reed... heck, I could simply make him another mix.
