Comment:

About 10 years ago, I and my then-roommates were looking at an apartment in Williamsburg and I discovered, in this otherwise empty (and huge, but grim) apartment, a crate of records left by the previous tenants. I asked if I could take them and the landlord was like, "Well, sure, I'm just going to throw those out." This mix mostly consists of songs from those records, as well as a couple other records found by me on the street or bought for a dollar on the street (in the case of the Microscopic Septet). Whoever this unknown record owner was, his tastes are very close to mine, but just different enough that making this mix was like looking into an alternate universe where I had made slightly different decisions about what to buy.

Judging by this mix it looks like you scored a pretty sweet collection of vinyl!! Nice mix!

Damn! I always wondered what happened to that crate of records when I moved out of that apartment in Williamsburg. Oh well, at least you've put them to good use. Why didn't you use anything from my Frampton Comes Alive album? Seriously, this looks like an excellent selection of music, no matter where it came from.
