Comment:
A mix made for a trip to New Orleans this weekend for my friends wedding. Should be a good time but a bit hot. There was a lot of stuff I wanted to put on here that just wouldn't fit, "City of New Orleans", Howlin' Wolf, The Neville Brothers, "Blue Sky", etc. If anyone knows what track 4 is, please let me know, it's from the Keith Richards compiled Uncut CD and is about 20 sec long as a bonus track after "Take Me To The River."
Feedback:
Lots of great great stuff here, good sweaty swampy feel to it. I would love to see New Orleans. But I live in England, so it's easier said than done.
question, is #14 a RHCP cover?
Yeah it is. It's short, just a minute or so of goofing around. It's on the Pinkhearts sessions if you can find that.
Looks like a great mix for a New Orleans road trip.
This excellent mix has been added to the Exhibit "Where You Got Those Shoes: New Orleans." Check it out at the AOTM Exhibits page.
"She was married when we first met, soon to be devorced"....you're a synical one I see. Very funny.
