Comment:

The Doubtful Guest are a lush band from Bath who everyone who'd like them should hear. The first track on side two is partly John Denver greeting his audience at the Universal Amphitheater in California, August 1974; the nice guy of country talking about going to the beach over AFX's keyboard space-washes works perfectly. Anyway this is a sort of wish list for an evening, inspired by Sesame Street, the cover of Miles Davis' 'On The Corner' and that drunky feeling you get around one in the morning...
