Comment:

it may not seem like much, but this cd is responsible for keeping me in check during my trips back and forth between Sacramento and Monterey. Adam Bristor is entirely to credit for the Whiskeytown songs, as he so graciously provided me with an excellent mix. and Borders in Sand City is responsible for my purchase of Anodyne, which led me to purchase the '89-93 Anthology. I'd sent this mix to a friend in New Zealand who is obsessed with everything Whiskeytown, but who hadn't heard Uncle Tupelo yet. anyone who'd like a copy of this, I'd be more than happy to send one out. Much <3 to you all!

What about "New Madrid," and the title track from ANODYNE? I thought those were really great songs.

Great mix! I've been listening to a lot of Uncle Tupelo lately. The anthology disc always seems to be in my cd changer.

Yeah, the absence of "New Madrid" saddens me, but at least you've included "Acuff-Rose", my second-fave U.T. song.

Ever heard of Alejandro Escovedo? I think I put one of his songs on our mix. Anyways, Whiskeytown did a few tracks with him and he is right up your alt-country alley. (Just a thought. Here's another:) Great mix, I'm glad it follows mine (on the board, er, just hit previous mix, ya know on the top(i'll shut up =)))!!!

with all you've been doing, you still find time for mixes, too?? btw i transferred my jake collages to my dorm room, where they are goggled over by my suite mates. ;) fun mix, by the way.
