NOTE: THIS IS A DOUBLE CD, HOWEVER, THE CATAGORIES ABOVE DO NOT ALLOW FOR SUCH A THING.)This December 2001 disc was my second effort at producing a Christmas compilation. The set features two very different sides. Side one has only traditionally performed songs, although a few of the artists may not fall under the "traditional" umbrella. Side two is comprised of songs that, while not all rock, certainly have a sharper edge. The title derives from a brief story included in the packaging. This tells the tale of a scientific expedition to the North Pole that finds Santa to be on shaky ground, bi-polar and falling apart, with his choice of music dictated by his mood. (Hence the the two different styles on the two discs.)
