I went to see The Gin Blossoms do a free show tonight, which inspired the title of this mix. Talk about a band that cranked out hit after hit for a few years, and then completely fell off the face of the earth... Notables on this disc include John Faye (of Ike and The Caulfields) doing a version of the wonderful (and unreleased) "Whatever U Do", and the acoustic version of Jeff Buckley's "Last Goodbye" from a radio station CD I found in my local record store's bargain bin. Bliss!
