this is one of my many ep jazz mixes. i really enjoy this one thoroughly. it was made sometime in april, I think, and has gotten extreme play in my stereo since.

looks great to me. where do you think the best Pastorius resides - with Weather Report, or after? I am considering getting the recent 2cd compilation of his.

Jaco at his peak, I think, is with his Word of Mouth band. This was directly after his split with Weather Report. If you can get your hands on it, get the Invitation album...it's pretty rare and you might have to do some combing...but there is some amazing stuff on that.

I agree about the Word of Mouth band. I like his solo stuff a lot more. Although "Punk Jazz," with Weather Report, is amazing.
