Comment:

Created in my depression over leaving for the University of Chicago this fall. It turns out my academic calendar ensures that I will have about two hours every year to see all my friends, especially Kristen, who is currently up at her Washington University orientation in St. Louis while I'm at home making mixes with her favorite songs. If one more person tells me that college is better than high school, then I'm going to do something drastic, like... well, like go listen to some more Red House Painters and be sad.

Screw college, Drew, let's rewind and go back to high school for a little bit. And is that title your sneaky, sneaky way of letting all your fellow mixers know how smart you are? Hehe...kidding.

I feel like crying now...so many awesome songs, like Boys of Summer and How to Fight Lonliness and Are You a Hypnotist?....I am very in like with this mix. It reminds me of my summer so far, just cruising around with friends, trying to hold onto to our last summer before everyone drifts away...it's sad sometimes, but you have to realise, everyone moves on and that living in the moment is the only way to immortalize these last moments.
