Comment:
AoTMers have posted many cool 26-song A to Z mixes here lately, and this is my humble addition. Stretched a little on I, U and V - other suggestions welcome.Feedback:
No, no "II Men, Boyz" is very clever! It's always nice to see some Wesley Willis on a mix. This is a brilliant idea, and well executed. Huzzah!
Indigo Girls for "I" could work but I'm not gonna lie - the II Men, Boyz is very clever!!
Maybe a little Wendy O. Williams for the people who don't need to hear Wesley Willis's one song ever again. (^_^) And maybe Voivod is less of a stretch than the Velvet Underground. One of the members of the Kills is named VV, but she hasn't recorded anything solo as far as I know.
Hi Mixxer - this is a nice idea. I have seen Xiu Xiu pop up a couple of times on mixes - its time to see who they are on Amazon. I saw this on a talk show with a sleep psychologist: when she had trouble sleeping she would try to think of real (psuedo-well-known)people or fictional characters whose initials were AA, then BB, etc. when you have completed that, then move on the AB, BC, CD, etc.
It works OK for me. but the QQ and XX give me problems. I have thought of googling up some high ranking Chinese leaders over the last 20 years or so to get an XX.

Folks: thanks for the comments. Wendy O. Williams would have been a great choice, but Wesley got extra credit for paying homage to another AAmazing AArtist, the late Eazy-E. Xiu Xiu is an experimental band from California (something of an acquired taste). Hawk and Mishkina - Aye, aye!!
this mix is awesome and very clever. The U2 bit is very smart!
Nicely done...thanks for your comments, no, the Franklin sisters just wound up that way!
You are right, screw him, gimme back my mix!!!!
