Comment:
so i'm back to tapes again. does anybody know what to do with a broken phillips cd burner that is a little over a year old with no warranty? other than drop it out a window?Feedback:
ooh ooh ooh! this is just delicious! love the vanderslice, modest mouse, and interpol tracks especially. i would suggest smashing it to bits with a hammer. damn technology!
I know not enough about these artists to comment on the mix. I am totally in love with the idea, however, of a band called "Nothing Painted Blue." I think I would force myself to like them if I ever heard them, just so I could play it for everyone I know, + tell them who it was. "What the hell are we listening to?" "They're called Nothing Painted Blue." "Oh..." As for the CD burner, take it apart + use the small bits of whatever you find inside for something good. Make a mini-statue with lots of glue + some sparkles + elbow macaroni. Create a rudimentary, though techy-looking coaster for your beer. Create a cybernetic track-suit for somebody's hamster, then detonate the little bastard. Or yeah, the hammer works. Out.
Minus the fact that liz phair suuuuuuuucks, really good. I like this mix. ps... screw liz phair
nothing better is a great song. interesting that you put that next to a perfect sonnet, because they're thematically closer than you'd think, but the styles are so different.
