Alright, this is a mini-mix of a huge romantic-like mix I made for my girl. The other mix was called Sweet and Heady, Like My Love, and while I love it to death, I realized that a two-cd, 33 song mix might not be someone's idea of light listening. So, in my oddness, I made a "greatest hits" mix tape of a mix tape. Both for the same girl. And I'm giving copies to Brie, because this little thing was her idea and she loaned me a ton of cd's for it and all sorts of stuff like that. So thanks Brie. And I hope Dana likes this... it took a good couple of weeks to culminate into the 33, and now this.. whew.Feedback:
The Cranberries track at the end seems like a nice way to end it. Could've done without the U2, but that's just me. I dig the idea of cutting down a 33-song opus into a greatest hits type thing, but I don't see the point of giving her both. 'Sides, your original was only 33 songs, which youreduced to 15. Do the math, + you cut just over 50% of the original number. That's basically like keeping every 2nd song- a bit too easy, methinks. Still, you did keep some great songs, so I can't really complain. Out.
I'm really giving her both because I'm just neurotic about this mix, and I just kept adding stuff to it... I had 30 songs before I knew it. I think my first intention was to end up with this 15 song mix, but I just couldn't choose out of those 30. So I guess you could say that this is the final mix, and that other was just my "pool" of songs. I'm giving her that because it's got a diverse, big group of great songs and I think she'd like the songs and probably hasn't heard of some of the artists. It's either that or just my neurosis of girls + mix tapes. you decide.
I vote neurosis- girls do funny things to both poles of the male of the species. Out.
im making 2 mixes for someone..i have the postal service song on mine too!..i might use some of these songs as well :) they rock!
