You guessed it; it's a GLAM ROCK tribute! Whether you love Glam or hate it, I've created a tribute (focused on 6 influential artists) to the wicked cool movement which died in 1975-ish (I don't count KISS/Poison etc. as Glam, sorry.) It's pretty short so far so I may add to it. If you like this mix, you should check out the movie Velvet Goldmine and it's accompanying soundtrack. Fabulous movie, terrific soundtrack.

Call bands like Kiss + Poison 'hair metal,' or rock n' roll. No regrets leaving them off a mix like this, which is magic on it's own. David Bowie... bless the man' soul. I haven't seen Velvet Underground yet, though it's been on a long list of must-see's for a very long time. Great, great mix. Out.

Great mix. I love glam! It's a shame no one is making music like this anymore. I thought Spacehog's last album was a decent stab at a modern glam, but then they broke up. Velvet Goldmine is excellent.

I think "Watch that Man" belongs on this mix. One can never have too much Bowie on a mix. Velvet Goldmine is a fantastic flick. The soundtrack is great, too. I think it would have been interesting to have heard more of Jonathan Rhys-Meyers' versions of the songs on the CD.
