In 1995 I made a tape called "A More Resilient Earth," which was sort of a relaxation/sleep tape that consisted of some classical, some "world" music, a little vocal AND instrumental jazz (but no "smooth" jazz, dammit!). The tape was fantastic, but I lost it about a year later. I forgot exactly what songs were on the tape, so I set out to make a Volume 2...here it is. It's not nearly as good as the first one, but it's the same basic idea. I really like the flow of this collection. The title comes from a chapter in Irving Stone' "Lust For Life."
