My understanding is that "Mais que nada" (the Jorge Ben song) is a Brazilian expression that means "come on" or "no problem". Mas que nada in Spanish means more than anything (literally - more than nothing). The Jorge Ben song has been covered (well & badly) by lots of different people in lots of different styles - and using both Brazilian & Spanish spelling of the title. Check out one of Ben's versions for a real treat.
