you didnt include a single punk band. just emo stuff. so that's technically not a punk mix.

try rancid or the sex pistols. or stiff little fingers. they're punk. not the all american rejects or the ataris.

sorry casey, but those bands may not be punk, but they're DEFINATELY not emo. emo is rites of spring, unwound, jawbreaker, elliot, hot water music, the promise ring, braid, etc etc. none of that dashboard confessional mtv comercialized stuff is considered emo... it's POST POST emo at the least, but not emo. this music is more in the genre of pop-punk, aka 1990's/2000's spin offs of punk rock influenced by pop culture. which may not make them punk rock, but still gives katie the right to call them punk because they're more punk than they are emo.
