My boyfriend had "How Soon Is Now?" stuck in his head. It's the only Smiths song that he knows. Obviously that needed to change. Especially because "How Soon Is Now?" is, quite possibly, my least favourite Smiths song. So I gave him a mix of my favourites. There's a reason why most of these songs are on all of the Smiths/Morrissey mixes that I've ever seen. It's cos they're fucking excellent.Feedback:
Count me in with your boyfriend -- I consider "How Soon Is Now" to be their best song, though it's obviously uncharacteristic of most of their work. You hit most of the other career highpoints, though "Girlfriend in a Coma" would be way up on my list.
