Funny -- after looking at Rob Conroy's fine New Order mix earlier today, I went looking for my own, and realized I'd never posted it to AOTM. So, for the sake of comparison, here it is. Fair amount of overlap, but a few differences. As I noted in my comments on Rob's mix, I think Brotherhood is their best album, and my favorite Euro-synth-pop disc of the 80's, a great blend of guitars & keyboards, and the one album where they most successfully blend their Joy Division-era introspection with their dance club party feel. Movement is also great, though pretty damn spooky and not necessarily ideal for a mix comp. Everything since Technique has been pretty irrelevant, alas.
