Inspired by our late night phone conversations... mostly our sign-offs. I miss you, love you, want you need you can't live without you... This mix has a definite sex feel to it, which might also stem from our conversations (at least my side.. distance sucks). Just kind of fun, I thought. I left off one, though.. Elvis Costello's "I Want You".. for obvious reasons. A sad, beautiful, mournful song about a bitter break-up doesn't exactly fit on a mix with back-to-back Marvin Gaye and Barry White. Anyway... this is going off in the mail to my girl, along with a composition book of letters/notes and another mix, The sunrise over the river... i like em both. this one actually took longer, can you believe it? hope she likes it. and you too, of course.
