Comment:
Ok, so last summer I came up with the great idea to collect all the protest songs that I found and put them in a CD collection. Well, it turned out to be quite an ordeal - lots of research and downloading aplenty. Anyway, this is the fruits of that labor. If I were doing it now, I would fix it up some (especially disc 4 - it's messy and not up to date any more!) but eh, it looks pretty good still. Disc Two takes us through the 70's and leaves us around 1980.Feedback:
great marley, great clash, great CSNY, and you picked my favorite dylan song
Hurricane, Ohio, Peace Train. Damn Great Songs.
I thought "Won't Get Fooled Again" was an anti-protest song -- "meet the new boss, same as the old boss," etc. But you did pick my favorite Clash song.
Great mix!
