Ok, so last summer I came up with the great idea to collect all the protest songs that I found and put them in a CD collection. Well, it turned out to be quite an ordeal - lots of research and downloading aplenty. Anyway, this is the fruits of that labor. If I were doing it now, I would fix it up some (especially disc 4 - it's messy and not up to date any more!) but eh, it looks pretty good still. Disc Three takes us right up to the early 1990'sFeedback:
Very good stuff here... I especially like "Russians." The only omission I can think of is "Sun City" by Artists United Against Apartheid. Check it out if you're not familiar with it and want another great tune to fit in this category.
