Comment:

although it's hard to tell, this is basically a stab at the "favorite 20 songs by favorite 20 artists" thing. i saw a few of these posted a while ago, and decided to give it a try DESPITE the fact that i have never been able to rank anything in order of preference ever to any satisfactory degree. this whole project underlines that problem; it was originally intended to be a rock/pop list only, but i just couldn't keep it that narrowly defined. likewise, i couldn't even begin to pick a favorite song from these bands; i love too many of everybody's songs to choose just one. so instead i picked a song that represented what i liked most about the band in question. often the bands picked were really just place holders for people in the band that i actually like (who have probably been in several bands and projects, giving me several options to choose from). the ranking of the top seven is pretty accurate, while the rest is too close to call and thus mixflow determined the order more than anything else. title references the oldest mix of this type i ran across, done by rob conroy, which confounded me to no end.

1,000,000 more to go!

There's a ton of stuff that I've given away over the years....The last week I've been leafing through old work books containing set lists and recording notes....I'm still in the first of four books...Thanks for the post, I love it when someone likes my work, it gives me pleasure!
