Comment:

so, this mix is being made to chronicle my journey of concerts in san francisco (or that will be in the general area) this year, starting with Guster and Maroon 5 at The Warfield in April. I put tracks by the bands I will be seeing at the end of the year to tie it all together. (Radiohead. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Wilco. Damien Jurado. Death Cab For Cutie.) I only got to see five bands at the warped tour this year, and I actually thoroughly enjoyed them all. It's been one hell of a trip! the title is from something that Ben Lee said in the middle of his set. yay! PS: I am adding Damien Jurado and Death Cab For Cutie assuming I attend both shows, one November 17th, and the other December 9th. I replaced the TBS/STD show with the two aforementioned artists because I got lost going to that show and thus could not attend.

I caught Coldplay back in June here in Toronto and they put on an unbelievable show, "Clocks" definately being one of the highlights. Great mix. Cheers! -AF.

I'm so jealous!! Damn Idaho... both the Flaming Lips and Modest Mouse arrived at Austin the month after I left. Austin was always where it's at, musically. Jealous, jealous, jealous!!! I'm also jealous of AlmostFamous down there, because Clocks is one of the best songs ever!
