Comment:

This one came about pretty organically. It started when I heard "Goodbye Honey" for the first time yesterday and just about died it was so good. I wanted to make a mix that sort of...led to it, logically, but I didn't want to force anything, so I just let the songs come to me over the last 24 hours. It kind of ended up with a theme of dysfunctional love that doesn't work out but that was "fun while it lasted." The title just came to me, as well. I know I've used a lot of these songs on past mixes, but hey, they fit. I've still got about 6 minutes left on the disc, actually, so if anyone has any suggestions...they'd be muchly appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)

Chris Isaak? Also good.

Suggestion: "Crying" by kd lang and Roy Orbison

And re: MB20's "You and I and I," it's an unreleased track that they play in concert, sometimes. I have a delicious bootleg of it =) *brag, brag*

Re: "You and I and I," ah, I see. Lucky girl. And listening to this mix right now, specifically track 1, I realize that I *still* have no idea what the hell Jeff Tweedy says in the two lines right before he starts with "So misunderstood" over and over. Anyone with some insight?

Hey, thanks for the comment about my mix. The guy continues to drag me around, look for more angsty mixes soon, I like your mix. Johnny Cash's version of "Hurt"? And "The first time ever I saw your face"? He is a GOD. Keep up the good work.
