Okay, so by now you're probably asking yourself "What is with this spoonful of cheesy eighties hip-hop amoung all this other alternative, soul, rock and blues?". The answer is this: by the time I ge to disc number four, I am going to be so weary from a long flight that I will need any little pick me up I can get. So there you have it, the set of four Seattle Road Trip discs. Thanks for reading. Cheers! -AF.

Yay. I am excited for you. I am going to see Radiohead up in Washington at the end of the summer.

That Hip track is hardly a pick-me-up, dude! With the exception of Bono + POSSIBLY that Ataris track, I think this would be my favourite of the 4, with "The Starbucks mix" at a close 2nd. Not sure why you didn't bother with a Frasier clip for this 1, but hey, whatever blows your hair back. I love, love, love the homage to the former greats of Seattle in the opening music track of each disc. It's too bad grunge is getting a bad rap these days from the teeny-boppers raised on the sugary teat of flash-in-the-pan pop music. The world wouldn't feel quite so... unworldly, I guess, if people listened to stuff like this. Great series, excellent work. Once again, I lay my sword at thy feet, my liege. Out.

These mixes are way eclectic. Wow! Hope they provided you with the much-needed distraction for a long trip and that the holiday itself was well worth it. New mixes from Ruby Kay coming soon (at last)...
