I'm working at the Southern Girls Rock and Roll Camp. It's an awesome camp started by my friend Kelley and it's the first year for it. Girls ages 12-18, with the standard instruments, make rock bands and learn skills about being in a band and making music. This is a mix for Jen, one of the vocal teachers, who wants to show off how awesome women have been in rock music. This is just a sampler of the TONS of awesome women in music, mostly my favs. they're gonna play some of this and some other stuff in the vocal class to inspire the girls to have great vocal performances. personally, i think it will inspire them to do more than just that. and yes, i'm a guy. check out www.mtsu.edu/w4w for more info. we have Magdalen Hsu-Li and Amy Rigby coming to talk about music and the music industry, and lots more that's not on the website. the camp rocks, take it from me.
