made this mix for an ex who actually wanted me to make a mix for her. being the mix junkie i am i made it. all the songs though are surprisingly mainstream but it's ok since she hasn't heard of most of these songs anyways. i wanted to convey the progress of our relationship through these songs. "good riddance" is the song that will always remind me of her because it was her favorite, which of course ruins it for me. too many break up mixes on art of the mix are sad and have too many john mayer songs on them. so i thought id take the less talked about route during break ups. the anger. which is why i guess alot of these songs are somewhat bitter. but of course it all seems to bottom out towards the end. right now we're stuck between track 18 an 19. so where does that leave us after 20?
